As our Sales Manager, you will act as the primary 'Hunter' for happtiq, working directly with our co-founder to aggressively drive revenue. You will take complete, hands-on ownership of the entire sales cycle—from qualifying inbound leads and running Google co-sell motions to closing complex professional services deals. This is a high-execution, individual contributor role designed for someone who thrives on the frontline and wants to build a scalable sales function through direct results..
What You’ll Do
Sales & Revenue Growth
Own the full sales cycle, from Google Cloud solutions (Infrastructure, Data & AI, Workspace) to selling complex, high-value professional services and project engagements.
Develop and execute account strategies to exceed sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities and drive lead generation in the DACH region.
Craft tailored proposals and statements of work for consulting engagements, implementation projects, and managed services; negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
Actively drive and manage co-sell motions alongside Google Cloud teams, and take immediate ownership of qualifying and converting inbound leads.
Independently craft, rigorously validate, and negotiate tailored proposals, Statements of Work, and order documents. You own the quality assurance of your deals before they reach the finish line.
Market & Customer Expansion
Identify emerging customer needs and translate them into go-to-market initiatives.
Explore new verticals, segments, and use cases for Google Cloud technologies.
Build a robust pipeline through outbound campaigns and frequent travel to represent happtiq at industry events, partner summits, and client on-sites.
Sales Operations & Enablement
Proactively track activities, forecast accurately, and maintain impeccable CRM hygiene to ensure timelines do not slip and deals do not stagnate due to administrative oversight
Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral and generate leads.
Drive go-to-market efforts for new offerings (e.g., Google Agentspace, Agentic solutions).
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within our customer base.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: At least 5 years of B2B technology sales experience, with a strong focus on selling professional services, consulting engagements, and project-based solutions. Experience as a Sales Manager (or similar client-facing sales role) within a Google Cloud Partner, AWS Partner, Microsoft Azure Partner, hyperscaler, or cloud consulting organization is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and experience selling solutions within the Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, or broader hyperscaler ecosystem. Experience with Google Workspace is a plus.
Hunter Mentality & Execution: You are a relentless driver of revenue who thrives on independent execution. You solve problems autonomously and take pride in managing deals from discovery to signature without requiring intervention for operational tasks.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Fluent in German and English, with excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

We offer a competitive starting salary of 85,000€ per year plus On-Target Earnings (OTE), with opportunities for negotiation depending on your expertise and career accomplishments.
