The Challenge
As Switzerland’s largest department-store chain, Manor is operating a wide range of workloads across multiple data centers and cloud providers. To fully leverage the capabilities of the Google Cloud the new environment had to be integrated seamlessly taking the complexity of the distributed network into account and while ensuring a high level of security and compliance.
The solution
In accordance with best practices, happtiq and Manor built a secure and easily expandable Google Cloud environment that is fully integrated with the companies existing ecosphere, such as identity and access management tools and networks and can be adapted to changing requirements. To ensure reproducibility and auditability of changes, an Infrastructure as Code approach has been implemented.
The results
Manor is able to leverage the full potential of the Google Cloud ecosystem to gain competitive advantage by leveraging the Google Cloud services. Having built upon a secure and solid foundation enables the various teams within the company to operate in a compliant fashion while having access to state of the art technology and with the comfort of a fully integrated cloud environment.
